The JuiceBox 40 and Chargepoint Home Flex wall chargers use a J1772 connector. This ensures compatibility with all-electric vehicles, including those made by Tesla, with a special adapter for allowing you to connect them to your Tesla.
The Tesla Gen 3 model only comes with a connector specifically for their vehicles. So if you want to use this type of charger on other models of electric cars, you need to purchase a J1772 connector to Tesla adapter.
Power Share Function
When it comes to sharing power between multiple vehicles, you will need to look only at JuiceBox and Tesla. At this time, the JuiceBox 40 allows for the use of 2 chargers on 1 circuit. When it comes to the Tesla charger, this can charge multiple vehicles simultaneously.
Unfortunately, when it comes to the Chargepoint Home Flex, you’ll find that it doesn’t have the capabilities to share power between multiple vehicles.
